The Osmo Action 5 Pro follows the cookie-cutter outline for action cams: It's small enough to mount on a helmet, tough enough to survive rough-and-tumble handling, and waterproof to an impressive 65.6 feet (20 meters). The camera measures about 1.7 by 2.8 by 1.3 inches (HWD) and weighs 5.2 ounces, nearly the same as the GoPro Hero13 Black (2.0 by 2.8 by 1.3 inches, 5.6 ounces).

The fifth-generation camera keeps the same mounting system as before, so you won't have to buy new accessories if upgrading. However, the Osmo Action series does not have built-in mounting clips or a tripod socket like the GoPro Hero12 and Hero13. Instead, it relies on an (included) mounting clip that latches into the bottom of the camera body with a set of pinch clips and a strong magnet keeping the kit together.

The Action 5 Pro's attachment point is only on the bottom, but the camera ships with a cage that adds a second mount point for vertical orientation recording. The system has been around since the Osmo Action 3 and is proven secure. Secure enough that GoPro essentially copied it for the Hero13 Black, the first DJI rival to include a similar magnetic clip mount. They're similar, but not identical—DJI's clip won't work with a GoPro or vice versa.

That's not true of the mounts themselves. Both GoPro and DJI cameras include bunny ear clips as an attachment point. These slide into slotted connectors on compatible mounts and tighten with a thumb screw. If you have a suction cup mount or selfie stick that works with a GoPro, you can expect it to work with the Osmo, too. Regardless, DJI sells a full range of mounts and accessories for the Osmo, including a set of push-on ND filters for the lens.

DJI has a few small video cameras in its lineup. The Osmo Action 4 is still available in stores and sells for $299, $100 less than its introductory price. It also has the Osmo Pocket 3, which isn't rugged or waterproof but provides gimbal stabilization and a Type 1 sensor for stable handheld recording with a slightly soft background.

The Osmo Action 5 Pro includes front and rear color displays, both with touch support. The square front screen is pretty small, measuring just 1.5 inches diagonally with 800 nits of brightness. Even so, it's not hard at all to navigate its touch functions, as DJI smartly uses large icons for its user interface and makes it easy to get to menus with simple swipe gestures. I especially like that both screens show a large, clear battery charging icon and current charge percentage when you plug the camera in to top off the battery.

 

 

오스모 액션 5 프로에는

터치 지원 기능이 있는 전면 및 후면 컬러 디스플레이가 모두 포함되어 있습니다. 

정사각형 전면 화면은 대각선으로 1.5인치, 밝기 800니트에 불과한 꽤 작습니다. 

 

그럼에도 불구하고 DJI는 사용자 인터페이스에 큰 아이콘을 스마트하게 사용하고 

간단한 스와이프 제스처로 메뉴에 쉽게 접근할 수 있기 때문에 터치 기능을 탐색하는 것은

전혀 어렵지 않습니다. 

 

특히 카메라를 연결하여 배터리를 끄면 두 화면 모두 크고 선명한 배터리 충전 아이콘과
